Overview of HV DC/DC Converters from

In the end of 2015 XP Power acquired EMCO High Voltage Corporation a leading US

manufacturer of High Voltage DC/DC Converters now XP EMCO brand.

 

XP EMCO produces and supplies a wide assortment of HV DC/DC Converters

with High Voltage output:

 

 

*      Proportional HV DC/DC converters with output power from 0.5W to 10W, maximum output voltage up to 10kVDC, isolated output voltage is proportional to the input voltage

 

*      Regulated HV DC/DC converters with output power from 2mW to 10W, maximum output voltage up to 10kVDC, non-isolated output is possible to regulate on the requested value due to internal or external programming voltage

0.5W to 10W with the output voltage up to 10kVDC

Construction design: MOD=encapsulated Printed Circuit Board mount module, SM=encapsulated module with Surface Mount terminals (see also the below illustrative picture), SIP=single line pins, H=additive mounting holes (option), AB=Additive Shielding and Mounting Enclosure (option), Electrical Circuit’s Facilities: C=possibility of switch ON/OFF via an external signal, MON=monitor of output voltage and/or output current, CT=Center Tap converters with dual symmetrical outputs (option), P/N=choose Positive or Negative output voltage, REV=Reversible model=these converters can be used for both positive and negative output, T=DC/DC converter with Extended Operating Temperature (for regulated converters of CA-T series is always used while for the all other converters with Note T there is necessary to choose option -T), /*=Note to Input Voltage Range: this range is not available for the output voltage greater than 3kVDC (only version with the range 0-5VDC is available in this case), /**= Note to Programming Voltage Range of Regulated converter type of SIP90 and SIP100: the output voltage is inversely proportional to programming voltage in this case (for 5VDC there is the lowest output voltage, while the highest output voltage is for programming voltage 0VDC)
